A darkly imaginative short film produced through the Columbia College Chicago Animation Production Studio (APS) course. The film was officially selected for the Spring 2025 New York Short Animation Festival, where it took home the Audience Award. It also won “Best Animation” and “Best Original Score” at the Feel The Reel International Film Festival.

This story of love, loss and learning takes form in a middle age man’s adventure as he trucks along the dessert only to be interrupted by a cracking sky and a lost alien! As the world quite literally falls apart around him, he must learn to let go of his grief for his lost daughter and his new green friend if he wants to stop his world from breaking into pieces…
